Hi all. I'm in the process of educating myself on AWD Savana and Chevy Express. I'm a frequent camper - mountain biker and whitewater kayaker - and currently have my 2008 4Runner outfitted with a bed and rear seats removed. I want to replace that with something better suited to the purpose, while still remaining stealthy and daily driverable.

Have you found 4x4 parts or a spare car. ?

I am also interested to build 4x4 suspension, so i am looking for a separate 4x4 front axle, i.e. the entire 4x4 front suspension etc. with all parts, so that i can build a 4x4 conversion.

We have a 2005 GMC conversion van with a standard 135-inch wheelbase, normal rear-wheel drive, at least for now.

(4x4 transfer case etc. and some parts we already have.)

But did anyone have an extra 4x4 front suspension, the whole suspension, axle, etc. used parts for sale, or where should I ask for these parts, is there any scrap yard that sales used 4x4 van parts. ?
