Armored GMC Savana 3500 Diesel Passenger Van

This is the world's first CEN B6/NIJ III armored GMC Savana passenger van that is capable of running on very high sulfur diesel fuel. The engine and powertrain has been extensively modified by International Armored Group to cope with the high sulfur content, commonly found throughout Iraq and Afghanistan.

This armored vehicle comfortably seats 8 passengers while being completely protected on all sides against high powered rifles, 7.62 x 51mm M80 NATO ball rounds, 5.56 x 45mm SS109 ball rounds and all equal or lesser weapons. The floor is completely lined with certified steel capable of withstanding simultaneous detonation of 2x DM51 German hand grenades.

What purposes could you guys see these being used for?

To start, one of the more common things I can see use for these where i'm located is for cash in transit vehicles and for tactical teams.

with both cash in transit and tactical there are levels they have, some that require savana like vans with entry-level armoring up to heavily armored heavy duty vehicles. I've personally seen both.
